Muir creek location and directions

"an ideal park in jeopardy"

The Muir Creek recreation areas can be

accessed at the Muir Creek Bridge (longitude

W. 123º, 52 “, latitude N. 48º, 23”),

which is about 50 km west of Victoria

on West Coast Road (Highway 14).

West

Coast Road is located on the west side

of southern Vancouver Island in British

Columbia, Canada. The creek is 12

km west of Sooke Village.

Looking upstream

The Muir Creek bridge is

400 metres upstream from the ocean. To

the west of the bridge, there is a large

gravel area that provides parking. There

is limited parking on the east side of the

bridge.

The east side of Muir Creek can

also be accessed from Anderson Road.

Walking trails and logging roads beyond

the end of Anderson Road provide entry

to the upper areas in the watershed.
