Muir Creek Protection Society

In November of 2006, the Muir Creek

Protection Society had over 500 members

drawn from South Vancouver Island and

around the world. The Society’s goal will

be achieved when the Muir Creek watershed

is protected as natural habitat with

dedicated parkland to provide continued

public access to the recreational and educational

resources.

Hardworking volunteers have organized

and attended a number of successful

events to support this goal. These activities

and the Society’s objectives have

been featured in various media.
